Like us, the house is...not young; like us, it has aged seasoned. We come to Jekyll for many reasons, all of them nicely addressed by this home. The sunsets...spectacular; birds from the front porch...numerous and varied; access to biking and walking...immediately accessible; a kitchen in a vacay rental clearly appointed for cooking in...YES!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. Plenty of space for the entire family. It was a short walk or bike ride to Millionaire’s Village. Great river view. Will stay here again.

We chose this rental for the amazing sunset views from the front porch and the pet friendly policy. The front porch has recently been screened in with partition doors to close off the opening to the stairs and ramp. This allows your pets to safely spend time with you lounging around on the beautiful furniture outside on the spacious porch area. Also a bonus, outside the back sliding glass door is an area gated in for the safety of your lil pooches! The historic district has hand made souvenirs and after shopping Doc’s chicken salad sandwiches are yummy! In the evening be sure to eat at the club house pantry on the veranda. And never leave the island without a trip to driftwood bistro!!! The pot roast and meatloaf are the best!!! Rent a red bug!!! It’s the best way to see the whole island!!

We rent Let's Do Sunset for three weeks in the spring.
We sit on the awesome porch and watch the activity. Ships going and coming, herons flying, egrets, and the golden marsh as the sun sets. Spectacular view.

This was a great house with an incredible sunset view! We really enjoyed spending evenings on the huge front porch watching tv, the gas fire pit (gas not included) and the setting sun all at the same time. The location was very convenient for everything. The historic district is a short bike ride away and the beach village is just a 2 or 3 minute drive away. There is also a small fenced in area around the back porch which is great for people bringing a dog. We will be coming back!

We have rented several years from Jekyll Realty and we have always had prompt and friendly service. We had never stayed on the river side but we loved it. Especially the front porch with the beautiful sunsets and the view of the river. The rental was nice and clean and very accommodating for our family of 7. We would definitely return. Great vacation!

We girls had the best time here. Every night we had a powwow by the fire pit. The sunsets, the awe and beauty that reflected across the water and sky. Even people driving stopped and watched it. We road bikes on the trail that’s just across the street. I hope to come back with the girls but I really would like to bring my husband and kids here. The house is very comfortable and cozy. It’s big too. The kitchen had the 4 of us in it cooking. They are the nicest people to rent with. Thank you so much.

We rent houses with JekyllRealty at least twice a year and this was probably our favorite so far. We had 4 adults and 2 children and this house was spacious and roomy. We were so excited to see it was fully decorated for Christmas! Multiple living rooms worked great when the kids wanted to play games or watch tv and the adults wanting to have conversations. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. One of our favorite areas was the large front porch to have coffee in the morning and wine at sunset. Location was wonderful...near bike path and within walking distance to historical village. Really wish this house was not being removed from the rental program.

Bonus for this home is the amazing covered porch which was perfect for my 80 year old mother to enjoy sitting under mornings and evenings. Home very spacious. Wonderful to have linens and towels provided. Very clean.

Located on serene Jekyll Island, near the historic district. Newly renovated front deck is a wonderful addition. We were able to sit outside on deck and watch sunset each evening, and let me tell you, it was a wonderful view!!! Located near great walking and biking trails, great for those who enjoy the outdoors. The rental unit was clean, cozy, and decorated beautifully. We also enjoyed that there were activities like corn hole and horseshoes in back for some game time.

We enjoyed this house. It was bigger than we expected and the view from the front porch was awesome. Everything worked great and we were happy to find a grill to be able to use as well. We would stay here again. No problems at all
