This was our first overnight trip to Jeckyll Island. We were meeting for our adult children and young grandchildren. Overall the experience was great. We knew there were stairs but weren't expecting such steep stairs at entry. And were disappointed that we did not have "ocean access " close by. I had mistakenly asked for close "beach access" which is very different apparently.We were able to drive to a very close beach, just not walk out to the beach/ocean from our room as we had anticipated.

As always Jekyll Realty was excellent with service and helpful!! Beachveiw was spectacular!! Only downside was it was a 2nd floor but it was a last minute decision to go so it couldn't be helped! For the money, it could have been stocked with more teaspoons(only 3) a few more forks! Been going to Jekyll since 2012 and WE LOVE IT!!! The beaches, all the restaurants, fishing and general all feel of the island!! To be honest, for the money, i don' think i would stay at this villa again!

We were blessed to stay a night in this property when we met the homeowner who does live on the island. We needed sort of an emergency accommodation. It was such a nice spot to enjoy our last day on the island. Its a good location near the north end of the island. It easily held two adults, three teens, and one 8 year old. I would definitely recommend you try this spot out!

The outside with the natural canopy was extraordinary! The room needs some TLC but we didn’t care because the beach was beautiful, clean, easily accessible for everyone in the family, especially my mom! We didn’t have to fight crowds at the beach, on the road, and/or restaurants. It was a holiday week and we didn’t have to worry about dad being impatient waiting in traffic or waiting for a table. We didn’t even have to wait to lay miniature golf. The only regret was that because it was our first time on the island, we didn’t plan ahead and reserve a golf cart. That is the only thing that would have made this a better vacation. We enjoyed a dolphin cruise at the marina and also loved spending s day at the water park.
We explored the historical spots and the beautiful beaches around the island! We only left the island to explore the light house in St. Simon Island because we could see itnso well from our balcony and wanted to know more about it. The people were friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!
